DATE NIGHT

Happy Friday!! We had a 1/2 day at work to gear up for Labor Day weekend, so I took advantage and got my nails done. They're white- my last summer color before fall hits! Wait... I live in Texas, so we go from summer to "winter" and that doesn't happen till Christmas time... Lol! Just kidding (kinda)! I got to eat lunch with Sonny and enjoy some coffee in the backyard with Monty before getting ready for our date night. This mug is super cute from Hobby Lobby and is so cheap if you use their 40% off coupon!

I'm trying to get as much use out of my summer clothes before I transition to fall pieces! Hey, just because I said it doesn't cool down too much here doesn't mean us Texan girls don't like to dress like it's fall! Once the temperature drops below 80 all bets are off... Whip out the Uggs! My girlfriends and I even enjoyed our very first PSL from Starbucks yesterday! It tasted just like I remembered... ahhhmazing! Anyways, here are some pictures of my date night outfit.

This flowy tank is from Nordstrom and it comes in a couple colors. It's great for a dinner date because you can eat as much as you want and have lots of room to breathe! I love the embroidery and cut out details too! The skinny jeans are from Express (currently 40% off the whole store!). I love that I can wear them multiple times in between washes and they don't stretch out or get loose; that's a pet peeve of mine! The wedges are old from Bakers (is that store even in business anymore?), but luckily the strappy wedge is back in style, so these are easy to find at most shoe stores!

Aviators: Michael Kors

Funny story about this picture... Yesterday I came home from a long day of work to find that Monty had chewed up the bottom of our blinds! I was so shocked that he did that because he's 4 now and that's what 28 in dog years? But later we found a mess on our office carpet and realized he was feeling sick and trying to get outside to go to the bathroom! I didn't realize his artwork would make the backdrop for my "outfit of the night". Monty- thanks for the reminder to make a trip to Lowe's this weekend!

I had to show the back of this tank because it also has some cute detail. The top has 2 tassels that tie so you can make it as tight or loose as you want. There's a keyhole opening and more embroidery going down the middle as well. It's all in the details! :) Hope you guys had a fun Friday night and a relaxing Labor Day weekend!
