BIODERMA REVIEW

Good morning! You guys know I love fashion, but I'm also a beauty and makeup junkie. I used to watch beauty guru's on YouTube nonstop and buy everything they said to get! I still watch them from time to time, and I saw Bioderma's make-up removing water in a lot of recent "favorite" videos, so you can imagine my surprise when I was approached to receive a PR package from them and try out some of their products! Below is everything that was included in my package:

Bioderma is an International company based in France, but you can purchase their products in the US through BeautyLish. They make a sale every 3 seconds... how crazy is that?! Their name comes from the combination of biology and dermatology, as they've done a lot of scientific research in their laboratories across the world to perfect solutions for each skin type!

The 3 bottles above are all make-up removing water solutions, but they are colored different for their skin type and condition. The blue bottle is the hydrating line, green is the purifying line, and pink is the sensitive skin line. I have dry skin, so normally I am attracted to anything that says hydrating on it right away. For some reason, I decided to try the sensitive line first. I liked the idea of a make-up remover being sensitive, Sometimes the makeup removing wipes leave my face with a burning sensation, and I'm not a fan of that!

I put a small amount on a cotton ball and went to town! There is a cooling effect when it's first applied, which I really liked! It made my skin feel fresh. It also did a great job of removing my makeup. Usually I have a hard time getting my mascara off and it takes me multiple wipes and tons of rubbing for them to finally be clean. I love that the formula is free is parabens, phytalates, formal, and formaldehydes too!

According to the Bioderma website, "Sensitive skin expresses itself through sensations of heat and widespread or localized redness. It becomes dehydrated easily and the ensuing dryness auto-maintains its fragility and leads to unpleasant feelings of tightness. Depending on the cause, severity and stage of sensitivity, Sensibio offers combinations of active ingredients with appropriate textures."

The blue line is for hydration, my favorite thing! Especially during the fall and winter, when my dry skin is even more helpless! I thought the make-up remover was similar to the sensitive line. It smelled the same and had the same refreshing cooling effect. What I really fell in love with was the moisturizer. After taking off my makeup, I always apply a moisturizer, otherwise my skin feels super dehydrated. This moisturizer has a gel consistency and felt SO good on my face! It almost reminded me of the facemark I use from FirstAid Beauty. It left my skin feeling super soft! I ended up using it morning and night!

The Bioderma website states, "Every day, pollution, stress, cold weather, etc. disrupt the skin's cellular activity. It no longer knows how to deeply generate or retain on the surface the water it needs for its natural balance. The skin becomes dehydrated, uncomfortable and more sensitive and loses its radiance. Found in the full range of Hydrabio products, the Aquagenium™ patent stimulates the skin's cellular capacities and reactivates its natural hydration process."

I should also mention that each line has a TON of products to choose from such as toners, cleansing milk, serums, scrubs, creams, etc!

Lastly, the green line is for purifying! This make-up removing water was different to me than the other 2. It had a different smell (almost like cologne?) and it felt a little more harsh on my face. I'm assuming because it was busy at work purifying the pores! This line is for oily and blemished skin, which is the exact opposite of my face! I think I am going to gift this set to a friend who has this skin type, because they'll get way more benefits from it! Well... I really did love the moisturizer though. Do I give her both or be selfish? Haha!

I liked the packaging of this moisturizer better than the hydrating one, even though I liked that formula better. I found that after a week or so of using the hydrating moisturizer, it was hard for the pump to pick up product I think this packaging is easier to get the full bottle's use of the product!

From Bioderma's website, "The skin changes during puberty: it becomes thicker, shiny and less soft. The more or less significant blemishes that appear sometimes continue through to adulthood.BIODERMA offers a new generation of anti-blemish treatments that directly act on sebum quality thanks to the Fluidactiv™ patented complex found in all of the range's products."

I am so grateful to have received all of these products from Bioderma! I am looking forward to trying all of their products in their hydrating line! I am such a sucker for creams, masks, and anything that'll sooth my dry skin! Don't forget that you can get all of the products I mentioned above plus their other lines at BeautyLish! Their other lines include: Atoderm (very dry/atopic skin) and Cicabio (damaged skin).

Have any of you tried their products? If so, what's your review? Thanks for reading!
