SATURDAY DATE NIGHT

Updated: May 13, 2020

Good morning!! It's back to reality... did anyone else have the day off yesterday for MLK Day? I used to work at Kraft Foods, and we would never get off for a holiday like that, but now that I work for a smaller company, it's pretty cool getting it off! Why do 3 day weekends seem so much longer? If I could get off every Monday, that'd be great because I got so much stuff done! I finally unpacked our last 3 boxes, and we moved in 8 months ago... oops! My next project is redoing the spare bathroom's decorations, and organizing my pantry!

Anyways, enough rambling! On Saturday night, we went out to dinner and watched a comedian at Cap City Comedy. It was our first time there and we had a blast!! The comedian was Josh Wolf from Chelsea Lately. We actually bumped into him before the show. He was sitting behind a little room divider watching football and I said to Sonny, "I think that's him!" and pointed and right when I did, he turned around LOL. He started talking to us about football and him & Sonny talked about their fantasy teams and Draft Kings lineups... boys!! Here is the outfit that I wore that night.

The sweater is from Old Navy (on sale!). I can't remember where the blanket scarf is from, but I feel like this pattern/color has been recreated at almost any boutique and clothing store. If you google dark green scarf it'll come up for sure! The leggings and OTK boots are from Target. I love buying clothes from Old Navy and Target because they're such a good price and they last as long as I want them to! I know next winter, I'm going to want new sweaters, so I don't like spending a lot on them. And they're so cute, nobody would ever know!

The star of the show (at least for me) is my new Louis Vuitton crossbody! It's called the 'Favorite MM' and I'm obsessed!! It's the perfect size for a night out! I used to hate lugging my Neverfull when we'd be out to dinners or crowded bars/restaurants. I love the monogram print, because it's so timeless! And the cute gold chain can be worn to dangle, or it can be used to extend the strap even longer. Instead of investing in expensive clothes, I like to splurge on designer bags. I feel like adding the Louis crossbody to this Old Navy/Target outfit instantly makes it look more 'expensive'.

The watch is one of my all time favorites from Michael Kors. I wear it too much, but it matches everything and has the perfect amount of bling! I've had this watch for over 4 years and it's still in style (or you could say timeless, hehe!).

These Target boots were such a steal! I've seen very similar ones at Nordstrom for over $200. I love the gold zipper and the tie on top. I have chicken legs, so it's nice to be able to tie it super tight so they don't fall down! Hope you enjoyed this outfit and thanks for reading! Happy Tuesday!
