FALL INSTAGRAM ROUNDUP

Hi everyone! It seems like forever since I've done a blog post! My life was so hectic with wedding and honeymoon planning (I'll be doing some blog posts on both soon!), that I had to put the blog on hold for a little while. But I'm back :) and thought I would share my recent Instagram outfits, since I haven't had time to do a post on each one separately. I've been so excited for fall fashion! Last year I bought a lot of cheap sweaters/cardigans from Old Navy. I think I used coupon codes on top of Old Navy cash on top of Ebates and I got them all for like $8-$10, no joke! They did the trick for the fall/winter, but they probably won't last another year. So- what a bummer.... I have to buy new fall essentials.... poor me!! :)

P.S. If you haven't heard of Ebates you need to sign up here, they give you cash back on almost all stores and there's no catch! I've already earned over $200 last year. Anyways- on to the outfits!

I love this outfit! The sweater is sooo soft and comfortable, that I already ordered it in black too! It comes in 5 colors total, and I'm wearing a size Small. I normally get an XS from Nordstrom, but I wanted it to be a little 'oversized' and be able to go off the shoulder. It fits perfectly! The white skinnies are from a year or two ago, but they are always available because they're a staple! Whoever said you cannot wear white after Labor Day is craycray. I love white in the fall and winter! These booties are old from last year. I wore them ALL the time and they are still in good shape and in style! I think they're timeless, but maybe that's because I live in Texas? :) You can't really see the ring that well in this picture, but it's a new band that I got from Nordstrom. I've actually been mixing it up and wearing it with my wedding rings, and it looks really good! It offers a little hint of gold with my silver rings, and ties in other gold jewelry that I'm wearing. Plus it's WAY cheaper than the real rings but sparkles just as much!

This is another one of my favorite fall outfits! I've been seeing leopard mules/slides for a while now, but I wasn't sure how I felt about it. I kept seeing pairs that were $85+ and some Kate Spade's that were even $250, and I just thought NO way! Once I found this pair that were only $17, I was like ok I can give this trend a shot for that price! Once they arrived I fell in love and I've already worn them 4 times since! Leopard is a neutral to me; I feel like these shoes match everything & give the outfit a little pop! They sold out quick (hopefully they restock them! But if not, I linked 2 similar pairs). The jeans are old from last year, but just like the white skinnies above, they are always available. The strappy tank and cardigan are new and I snagged them while they were 40% off! I needed a new 'basic' cami that I could wear under cardigans and blazers. This is actually a harder task than it seems! I've bought and returned a lot until I found this one! Obsessed! The quality is really nice too! The cardigan has statement sleeves which is really trendy this year. I love it! And it's super cozy and a little oversized. I'm wearing it in a size XS (so size down!).

Celfie Tee // Cardigan // Jeans // Hat (similar) // Mules (similar, similar) // Watch (use code ALEX10 to save!)

This outfit seemed appropriate, since I was heading to the DMV (which they call DPS here in Texas; still getting used to that!) to change my last name for my new driver's license! Had to get a good #celfie that day! My old driver's license photo was so bad. It was a hot humid day (imagine that in TX!) and my hair started to frizz and lose it's curl. Also, I didn't know what 'flashback' was for foundation and so it looks like the middle of my forehead is oily AF. Anyways- this time wasn't too much better. I thought I was so smart because I made an appointment, but when I showed up the building was at capacity and there was a line out the door. It was 10 in and 10 out. So I stood outside in the heat again, sweating. I have to wait 2 weeks to get my new ID in the mail, so we'll see! Lol. Anyways- I am wearing my new favorite leopard mules again. This tee is only $10, but it runs small so size up! I'm wearing a size Large and after washing it a few times, it's a little tight. If you want an oversized look I would definitely go up to an XL. The jeans are old from last year, but are a staple in any blogger's wardrobe! They are just the right amount of distressed! The cardigan is new, and super super soft! It comes in grey as well. I love the length too; I feel like longer cardigan/trenches have been in style for a few seasons now. I had to size down in this (got a size XXS, which I didn't even know existed). This hat is old, but I linked a similar one!

Ruffle Tank // Jeans // Heels (similar) // Watch (use code ALEX10 to save!)

Another trend that I'm loving is the ruffle hem! This tank is really cute on it's own while the temps are still warm (or HOT, in Texas at least!) and then it can be paired with a cardigan or blazer when it gets cooler! I love the neutral 'oatmeal' color! The jeans are old, but again are always available. The strappy sandals are the perfect summertime heel that transition well into fall! This is the same leopard watch that I'm wearing in the last photo. I wear it all the time and it's a really good price point!

Olive is one of my favorite fall time colors, so this blouse was perfect for me! I love that it's short sleeves so it can be worn on it's own in warmer tamps, and paired with a cardigan/blazer as the temps drop (like the ruffle hem tank!). I hate the feeling of trying to pull a cardigan over a long sleeve top. It just never seems to fit right! These jeans are a super good find! They are on sale right now for only $28 right now with code 'THANKYOU' I love the distressed knee! I sized down to a size 2R in these (normally a size 4). The wedges are old from Forever 21, but I linked a similar pair!

I hope you liked this fall Instagram roundup! I'll definitely be back to blogging more often now that I have my free time back! Thanks for stopping by!
