Good morning!! It's Thanksgiving week and I am starting to get into the holiday spirit! We hosted a Friendsgiving on Sunday for the first time, and it was a success! We moved to Texas from Chicago, so we thought it would be fun to get our friends together for good food and drinks!
Today I'm sharing a fun girl's night out that I went to last month at Parlor Beauty Bar in Austin, TX! I was invited by a fellow Austin blogger, Alicia, and was excited to meet other influencers at the event as well! Who can resist a night of pampering?!
The second I walked in, I was obsessed with the design! The walls were a blogger's dream come true and everything was so pink and girly! The perfect vibe for a spa night!
They were so sweet to feed us mini appetizers and of course champagne!
Around the corner was the wash station for blowouts! I had my first blow out in July for my bachelorette party, and I must say they are very addicting! It's your favorite part of getting your hair done (scalp massage wash, and styled curls) without the price tag! I am going to get them much more often now for special events. The nail salon was also in this room, and they even had a makeup artist on hand to do our eyes!
The makeup artist used the Jaclyn Hill palette on my eyes to create a soft smokey eye! I was so excited to see the palette in person, because I've been seeing so many bloggers and YouTubers rave about it online!
The blowout section was in the front of the beauty bar, and is every girl's dream vanity!
They gave us cute pink robes to wear while we got pampered! My curls turned out so bouncy and fresh! It was so nice socializing with other bloggers while getting done up! My hubby picked me up from the event and we had a dinner date at Fixe, which is upscale southern food (make sure to order the homemade biscuits! But not if you're on a diet...! LOL).
